CONCERT NEVER SEEN IN BRISTOL! 27.04.2013 (Saturday) FREE ENTRY!
We remind you, that on 27 April, at the Polish Club “SPK” in Bristol, there will be a unique event, where three rock bands will play: Slapfish, Bonemud and Local Heroes INC. During the concert, for the first time in the UK, we will come together to break the World Record for the number of people playing J.Hendrix hit single "Hey Joe" on guitars.
Breaking the Guitar World Record will be led by the leader of the english band Local Heroes INC - Barry Montacute, who with the band and gathered guitarists, will play the song "Hey Joe". Local Heroes INC will reappears on the stage of the Polish Club, at about 21.00.
The festival has been held for 10 years on Wroclaw's market square and has been founded and organized by the polish, well known guitarist, Leszek Cichoński. On the 1 of May 2012, over 7,000 thousand guitarists played only in Wrocław. Every year more countries join this spectacular event. The song "Hey Joe" is being played in Sweden, Norway, Italy, Germany, France and even Australia. This year, for the first time the United Kingdom joins this project.
We would like to invite all rock music lovers, not just guitarists, but also children and adults to play together. It is one of the few events were everyone can take part, regardless of age or skill. Bring a stringed instrument (guitar, mandolin, etc.) and come and join us!
